The battery holds it's charge for a ridiculously long time, and the USB cable is super long so no need to stop gaming if your battery dies. Would recommend.

Awesome kit, was very surprised by battery life

Product is fine, does what is says on the box. Build quality is very good and the USB has a charging light and is a good length. Bottom line is you can do just as well with 4 rechargeable batteries but this doesn't get taken for use in the kids toys!

The cable is sufficiently long to charge the controller from the couch. The USB 3.0 fast charge gets the controller recharged nice and quick.

Dont think about it. If you use your XB1 for any decent length of time, dont bother with throw away batteries. Just get this and plug the controller in after each session to never have a dead controller.

Also compatible with the XB1 Elite Controller.

So easy to keep your controllers charged, not having to change batteries out is great :D

Honestly if you play for any length of time you can't live without this. But it is still galling to have to buy something as an extra that so obviously should come with the main console. Out of all available I still think there one lasts best.

I have bought two of these kits now for my controllers. The savings are obvious compared to disposable batteries and these are better for the environment. I bought these ones over clone ones as these fit the controller properly so you can use the original battery cover. Important for those of us with limited edition controllers like the Master Chief one. Also includes a charging cable that connects to the controllers usb port not direct to the battery like the cheap ones. The cable has a charging indicator light which is very handy.

The battery seems to be fine, though I haven't really used it that much. It seems like it holds a really good charge and lasts ages.

The cord on the other hand is pretty bad (at least the one I recieved). After a month and a half it no longer works. It has that problem you get if you constantly wrap the cord tightly around a controller and it then only works if you hold the cord in weird positions, which I learned not to do over a decade ago so it's not something I caused. Contacted mighty ape about it at the beginning of the week and still haven't got a reply, which is a shame as a long time customer.

Luckily the xbox one controller works with almost any usb cord or I would be much more annoyed.

I have had other batteries for my Xbox One controller. While the other ones were cheaper, they simply don't beat this. This battery lasts a really long time. Other batteries require a second cable to charge them, but this battery fully integrated into your controller so that it can be charged through the existing USB connection on the controller. Other batteries may be marginally cheaper, but none will match the quality and convenience of this battery.

Great battery life in these small but powerful batteries. Leaves the ps4 battery life for dead. And great service from the mightyape team. So quick and reliable. Thanks guys

Havn't tried 3rd party options before – only ever used genuine Microsoft play and charge packs as they do always last. Never found the battery life on these shortening over time, whether it was back on the 360 version or the Xbox One version.

Recently purchased another one for my second controller. Awesome for decluttering your space and playing wirelessly, but the usb charging cable is also handy for those times you want to play nonstop.

9 days after charging it's just under half flat. If you are going to buy a play and charge kit, this is the one to get.
