When Tessa moves to Nigeria in 2006 with her husband Bjorn she is confronted with (working) life in a developing country and huge cultural differences. She stumbles through life full of hope, miscommunication, frustration and laughter. Along the way she learns what a 'madam' is supposed to do - and mostly what not.
