Imogen Wilson is the brain and hands behind the stunning collection and has been making handmade jewellery from her hometown in Wellington, New Zealand since 2009. Expanding her passion to a full time job in 2013, her drive and creative flair have created a beautiful line in Major Tom.

This range is true quality – hand made, colourful, elegant and unique items that will mean as much to you as they do to her. She states on her Facebook page – “I love the colours and patterns found in outer space. I created Major Tom to harness them into wearable art.” And wearable art they most certainly are.

We currently stock bracelets, necklaces, studs and hanging earrings, with cufflinks on the way. Each item comes in styles depicting gorgeous images from the Hubble telescope of the Earth, Moon, Carina Pillar, Two Galaxies, Ring Nebula, Hurricane, Bright Clusters, a Galactic Star, Dust Pillar, Gas Bullet, Massive Star and a little Astronaut to top the range off.

These images are encased within a clear, glass, domed, cabonchon tile that magnifies and brightens the images to really make them stand out. All metal elements are silver plated and have a brass base metal. They are non-allergenic and are nickel and lead free.
