Author Biography

Darryl Sleath is the co-founder of the MotorPunk website. He also blogs about his automotive adventures and dabbles with grassroot motorsports. He has written for various print magazines, contributed to 1001 Cars to Dream of Driving Before You Die, and other books on classic cars and the motor industry. Darryl also works with CBS's online motoring channel Carfection, producing a number of short films celebrating the derring-do of motorsport heroes and rediscovering Europe's long-forgotten race circuits. As a geography graduate and seasoned traveller, Darryl has road-tripped extensively throughout North America, Europe and Southeast Asia, experiencing many of these routes firsthand.
