I bought this book as a more durable alternative to the paperback. My impression of the book is that Jordan intended to explain certain terms of his profession, and frame that knowledge in a way that may be useful to a layman like myself. Each chapter was supported by academic information that was easy to follow, which he supported with anecdotes from his life. I would recommend this book to anyone who is interested in reading a more pragmatic “self help” guide, without feeling pressured to take anything on board except what relates to their own circumstances. For an enhanced reading experience, I would recommend also purchasing the Audiobook, which is written by Jordan himself.
