“Don't buy Chinese made crappy knife” Great love of Video cameras, gift at Christmas memory. Swamped by bugs, could have eaten those to survive. Collects rain, during storm. Got free with rain water storm washing the rock free went back to van. Goes to relatives. No just a hallucination. Talk show shout out to keep spirits high. Made a joke to make light of the fact that he told no one where he was going. Uses previous video content to keep spirits high. “There is no force more powerful than the will to live.” Mixed message lifts spirits. Prepared messages for family. Memories could be last thoughts or preservation. Imagines family are there. Cuts arm, majorly bone, skin and so forth. Severs arm but separated from boulder. Abseils from rocks to get to puddle of water. Comfort doesn't matter with survival. “Do you want to stop and rest.”, " No, Gotta keep going." Helicopter out. Message font was hard to read. You'd do what he did, if you had to survive.

Description

127 Hours

There is no force more powerful than the will to live…

127 Hours is the true story of mountain climber Aron Ralston’s remarkable adventure to save himself after a fallen boulder crashes on his arm and traps him in an isolated canyon in Utah.

Over the next five days Ralston examines his life and survives the elements to finally discover he has the courage and the wherewithal to extricate himself by any means necessary, scale a 65 foot wall and hike over eight miles before he can be rescued. Throughout his journey, Ralston recalls friends, lovers, family, and the two hikers he met before his accident. Will they be the last two people he ever had the chance to meet…

Critic Reviews:

  • " A good film featuring a truly great performance. " – Richard Propes
  • " An inspired and inspiring cinema experience. " – Leigh Paatsch
  • " 127 Hours is a classic, albeit internalized, adventure story juiced up with Boyle's attention-deficit-disorder camera work, which renders the world a pop-music fueled, caffeinated frenzy, as hallucinatory as any drug trip. " – Felicia Feaster
