Description

Adam and Eve are on another modern-day adventure in the second volume of this charming series of speculative novels for teens.  This time their journey takes them from the Red Sea to the state of Missouri, where they witness God's protection, constant provision, and unending patience as they get to know their new friend, Jordan, a teenager living with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy. What if Adam and Eve had not been condemned to die after eating the forbidden fruit? What if it was only their descendants who were cursed, while the original sinners retained their immortality? What if they were alive to see how the consequences of their selfishness impacted dozens of generations up until today? These questions form the premise of You Will Surely Not Die, a charming speculative novel series for teens. Adam and Eve are still alive in our present time. They have lived through all of human history. How will this knowledge and experience influence the adventures with which they become entangled? In this second volume of the series, Adam and Eve meet Michael while scuba-diving in the Red Sea. When they join Michael at his home in Missouri, they're introduced to his son, Jordan, a teenager living with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy. The ensuing modern-day adventure places God's protection, constant provision, and unending patience on display.

Author Biography:

Beth Woods, MS Ed, is a wife, mother of two, and a scuba-diving, Bible-believing Christian from Virginia who loves writing and traveling. A Virginia Tech and Longwood University alumni, Beth taught grades four through twelve in a public school classroom setting over the course of thirty years. She recently retired as a public high school math teacher. She has taught a wide range of skills, including how to drive, walk on a balance beam, compose a short story, find the missing angle of a polygon, and figure out the probability of an unknown author getting published.Yet having taught all these things, the one thing she really wanted to teach her precious students, she couldn’t. Following the example she learned as a kid at Kanakuk Kamp, she searched for a way to make learning about living for Christ fun. Thus, her teen novel series, You Will Surely Not Die.
