OVERVIEW
The roll up design means that you can store the mat in the smallest space and
therefore easily fit it in your gym bag or simply hang it over your shoulder.
The padded surface is a full 1 centimetre thick to cushion your hands, knees
and other bony parts of your body so that you can get on with working your
muscles rather than thinking about how to get comfortable.
TO BE YOUR BEST
Floor exercises may originate from sports, yoga, dance or pilates – with all
these styles of workout one thing is for sure, working one muscle at a time is
now considered old fashioned so when you are doing your floor work aim to
perform ‘compound’ exercises. This simply means that you are calling upon
groups of muscles rather than targeting them one at a time.
COACH SAYS
When my athletes go in to the studio to do a class or session they always take
their own mat with them because they don't mind lying in sweat as long as
it's only their own enough said!
DESIGNER NOTES
On that previous note… we have used an NBR ‘closed cell’ technology foam
to minimise the amount of moisture that can be absorbed by the mat meaning it
will stay ‘fresh’ during not just the first but also many many workouts,
aside from the tech talk user feedback consistently tells us that the closed
cell technology is the most comfortable mat we make.
