Author Biography:

Hannah Smith was born in 1982, in St Albans, Hertfordshire. Growing up, she was a keen sportsperson, enjoying participation in different sports before falling in love with golf. Now, a qualified primary school teacher, Hannah is keen to combine two of her passions in trying to get more children fall in love with reading and playing golf from a young age. In Adventures in Golfing, Hannah creates loveable related characters to grab children's attention and get them involved. Adventures in Golfing is Miss Smith's first book. Blanche Mortimer was born in 1979 in St Albans. She is the middle child of three sisters, she has an older twin (by four minutes) and a younger sibling, Hannah Smith, the author of this book. She lives with her husband, her teenage daughter and their dog. Blanche is a qualified primary school teacher, specialising in the early years, and is also a qualified SENDCo. Blanche has always loved drawing and painting and was delighted to be asked to produce the pictures for Adventures in Golfing, her first book, alongside Hannah.
