Description

With some 1200 items in this sourcebook, the author provides a survey of information published between 1983 and 1993. Part 1 is a chronological listing which illustrates how information about AIDS has evolved annually, and in which form this information appears. For each year there are up to 12 annotated categories, ranging from books to videocassettes, government documents to atlases, conference proceedings to review papers. Part 2 is an annotated bibliography about occupations which afford increased risk of contracting AIDS. Part 3 consists of appendices. In addition, there is a list of acronyms, and author and subject indexes. This volume aims to provide information on AIDS for students and researchers at all levels. Information about publications devoted to AIDS, AIDS organisations in various countries, and an AIDS time-line, demonstrate that it is intended to be useful to anybody concerned about the disease.
