ABOUT THE AUTHOR Donna R. Causey, native of Alabama, spent many years in the classroom as a teacher of students with learning difficulties. Once she retired, she finally had time to follow her passion for discovering little-known or forgotten gems of history. Donna has developed the websites www.alabamapioneers.com and www.daysgoneby.me.
