AMT's F-14A Tomcat kit depicts Grumman's supersonic twin-seat fighter in authentic 1/72 scale.
A clever working cam and lever mechanism inside the model allows the model to emulate the variable-sweep wing positioning system of the real aircraft. The kit includes two complete decal marking schemes for the Tomcat of squadron VF-1, the “Wolfpack” operating from U.S.S. Enterprise, October 1974 and the VF-32 Swordsmen, flying from U.S.S. John F. Kennedy during the 1980's. Packaging features an all new illustration from acclaimed artist, Sonny Schug.
