Author Biography:

Keith Ellis was born in Essex, England. Leaving school at 16 he completed a 3 year apprenticeship in constructional engineering. He spent a lot of his early life drawing and painting as art was always his strongest point but from the age of 10 became infatuated with Ancient Egypt. His first book, Ancient Egypt A Simple Walkthrough, was published in March 2014. His interests include fishing, drawing, reading, and Ancient Egypt. In 1977 he wrote and directed a play at school titled, The young pharaoh, in which he also played the lead role of Tutankhamun. Now working as a freelance building inspector, he is a member of a local group that organizes fund raising events for local charities. His short term plans are to complete a credited course in Egyptology and do a lot more travelling, returning to Egypt in the future. Keith now lives in a small village in Essex with his partner and has two adult children.
