Prof. Dr.-Ing. habil. Suchart Siengchin is the President of King Mongkut’s University of Technology North Bangkok. He received his Dipl.-Ing. in Mechanical Engineering from University of Applied Sciences Giessen/Friedberg, Hessen, Germany in 1999, M.Sc. in Polymer Technology from the University of Applied Sciences Aalen, Baden-Wuerttemberg, Germany in 2002, M.Sc. in Material Science at the Erlangen-Nürnberg University, Bayern, Germany in 2004, Doctor of Philosophy in Engineering (Dr.-Ing.) from the Institute for Composite Materials, University of Kaiserslautern, Rheinland-Pfalz, Germany in 2008 and Postdoctoral Research from Kaiserslautern University and the School of Materials Engineering, Purdue University, USA. In 2016 he received the habilitation at the Chemnitz University in Sachen, Germany. He is currently a full Professor at KMUTNB. His research interests include Polymer Processing and Composite Materials. Dr. Sanjay Mavinkere Rangappa is currently working as a senior research scientist at King Mongkut’s University of Technology North Bangkok, Thailand. He received his B.E (Mechanical Engineering) in 2010, M.Tech (Computational Analysis in Mechanical Sciences) in 2013, and Ph.D. (Faculty of Mechanical Engineering Science) from Visvesvaraya Technological University, Belagavi, India in 2018 and Post Doctorate from King Mongkut's University of Technology North Bangkok, Thailand, in 2019. His current research areas include natural fiber composites, polymer composites, and advanced material technology. Dr. J. S. BINOJ is currently working as an associate professor at Mohan Babu University, Pradesh, India. He graduated (B.E-Distn.) from St. Xavier’s Catholic College of Engineering, Nagercoil, Anna University in 2008 and obtained his (M.E-Gold) from C.S.I. Institute of Technology, Thovalai, Anna University, Chennai in 2011. He received his Ph.D. (SRF-P, DST, Govt. of India) from Anna University, Chennai in 2017. His areas of research are materials science, machinability, and composite materials especially fiber reinforced polymer composites. Mr. Yashas Gowda T G completed his Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from Malnad College of Engineering, Hassan, under VTU, in 2014. He then went on to complete his Master of Technology in Machine Design from SJB Institute of Technology, Bangalore, Karnataka under VTU, in 2016. He has worked as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Malnad College of Engineering, Hassan since 2017. In 2019, he was selected to pursue his Doctorate in Engineering (D.Eng.) under a scholarship at The Sirindhorn International Thai-German Graduate School of Engineering, King Mongkut’s University of Technology North Bangkok, Thailand., He has published more than 15 articles in high quality international peer-reviewed journals, 5 book Chapters, and 1 edited book. He has also presented numerous research papers at national and international conferences. He is currently working on natural fibers characterization and the tribology of hybrid composites. Dr. Madhu Puttegowda is currently working as an assistant professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering, at Malnad College of Engineering, Hassan, Karnataka, India. He received his B.E (Mechanical Engineering) from Visvesvaraya Technological University, Belagavi, India in 2011, and then went on to achieve his MTech in Product Design and Manufacturing and Ph.D. (Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Science) from Visvesvaraya Technological University in 2020. His current research areas include natural fiber composites, polymer composites and advanced material technology.
