Was delighted when I opened this paperback today. Lovely to handle – know what I mean- It truly does lie flat. Large colour photos of every pattern, showing clearly the stitches, with charts AND written instructions. Beware though – the names of the stitches are in American terminology. English crochet terms are one step ‘ahead’. ie English double crochet (dc) is in US terms single crochet (sc); Eng treble (tr) in US terms double crochet (dc) etc. Chain st and slip st are the same as Eng terms. The illustrations are very clear to see so you really shouldn't have an problems. Ralston
