Author Biography:

Bill Lazarus has been a veteran NASCAR historian whose book, The Sands of Time, Celebrating 100 years of Racing in Daytona, was first published in 2004. A second edition was published in 2016. A native of Maine, he served as a reporter and editor for several newspapers and magazines, spent five years as editorial manager for ISC Publications, producing programs for races, and has taught writing classes at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, Daytona Beach (Fla.) Community College and in high school.
