Her books have been published in Italian, German, Slovenian, and Japanese. She has written for Harper’s, The Believer, Artforum, n+1, Cosmopolitan, Lenny Letter, Buzzfeed, and other print and web venues. She is the creator of the international phenomenon Drag Queen Story Hour, and founding Editor-at-Large of the online parenting journal Mutha Magazine.
