Author Biography:

Gordon Teichner, PhD, ABPP is a neuropsychologist / clinical psychologist with over 20 years of experience evaluating and treating children and adolescents who demonstrate an Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder. He has a private practice in Charleston, South Carolina. Dr. Teichner completed a PhD in clinical psychology, with a specialty in neuropsychology, from Nova Southeastern University. He completed his clinical psychology internship at the Medical University of South Carolina / Ralph H. Johnson Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center Consortium in Charleston, South Carolina. He completed a neuropsychology fellowship at the Medical University of South Carolina. Dr. Teichner is board certified in clinical psychology by the American Board of Professional Psychology. He is a fellow of the American Academy of Clinical Psychology. Dr. Teichner has been an investigator in multiple studies examining the efficacy of different medication for ADHD in children, adolescents, and adults. He has authored or coauthored 26 journal articles and has given 80+ presentations (posters, papers, and symposia) at various national and state conferences.
