Julia Vesova is an author of poetry and prose for children. She is a participant in the International Forum of Young Writers, the Seminar of Young Writers Writing for Children, and a "How to Write Well" Festival finalist. She is also the winner of various literary awards. She says, "If you squint at a lantern, it will turn into a lion with a red mane. I like to see the world through the eyes of a child--to find something new in the familiar, to notice the beauty in what surrounds." Svetlana Sadykova is a children's illustrator from the city of Yekaterinburg. She used to work as a designer, but illustrating children's books was her dream. For three years, she has been drawing for books and board games and creating characters, working with publishers and authors from different countries. When working on illustrations, she strives to ensure that they bring a smile to the faces of children and adults.
