An adult version of this game is produced under the name of Poison and we have played it so many times that the text has worn of the cards.
Unfortunately this kid's version is very lightweight card in a odd shaped box that is mostly filler, so it's not going to last and is difficult to store on a shelf.
Get Poison if you can, and Bakers Dozen only if it is on sale.
In this quick-playing card game, players will build piles of donuts while trying not to exceed a value of 13. Cards are shaped like donuts of different flavors, each with a different value (1, 2, 4, 5, or 7). Players hold only five cards at a time, and at times may be forced to play a card that will exceed 13, which means they’ll have to take the entire pile of donuts! The player with the fewest points at the end of the game wins, but watch out for the moldy donuts which add two points at the end of the game! Young players will hardly notice they’re sharpening their simple addition skills.
