Description

Engaging color photographs show off the sights, history, and culture of Baltimore, Maryland. The spirit of Baltimore, a historic East Coast city and major port that was founded in the early 18th century on the Chesapeake Bay, is deeply entwined with the water. Much has changed since then, but remnants of the city’s history are mingled with new growth and offer the visitor a wealth of memorable sights and scenes by both day and night. From Fort McHenry to the National Aquarium, Fells Point to Little Italy, Johns Hopkins University to Rawlings Conservatory, these photos show off Baltimore's many gems. Perfect both for lifetime Baltimoreans as well as visitors looking to remember their trip.
