Are you ready for an adventure in art?Be an Artist Every Day features 365 on-the-page art activities - one for each day of the year. Packed full of playful prompts and imaginative step-by-steps this book, aimed at children aged eight and older, is designed to unleash creativity and nurture the artist within. You don't have to be a master painter, or be able to draw a perfect circle to make great art. This book will help you discover that imagination and confidence in your creativity is what really counts. The pages are packed full of stimulating activities designed to show you how varied art can be and how easy it is to be an artist every day. You can design your perfect treehouse, reinvent the banana and make art with your fingers and toes. Practise techniques such as hatching, shading and mixing colours and learn how to follow the styles of brilliant artists such as Georgia O'Keeffe or Paul Klee, and record it all in your own words and pictures in this irreplaceable journal. When you've completed the book, you will have a beautiful, one-of-a-kind keepsake of the 365 days in which you discovered your own personal creativity.
