The wreaths and décor are predominantly made of natural materials - dried fruit, flowers, and vegetables, magnolia leaves, sycamore tree seed balls, artichokes, dried okra pods, apples and pineapples, persimmons, oyster shells, evergreen boughs and fresh or dried leaves, oranges spiked with cloves, lotus pods, apples, wheat and corn husks, baskets, feathers, and pine cones. The holiday designers added 'trades-related' elements to some wreaths such as dried tobacco leaves and clay pipes, toys and soaps, cotton-bolls and threads, tankards and playing cards, a miniature anvil and hammer, nutmeg graters and walnuts, musical flutes and song sheets, a tiny yule log surrounded by straw and wheat stars, miniature wigs and shoe soles, wooden spoons and dried orange slices, twisted paper (into rolls or roses), and shiny tin leaves, to name a few.
