Author Biography:

In 2005, after a career in the Navy and then as a water treatment operator, Moe Cason began competing in-and winning-barbecue competitions. He has faced off with some of the most famous pitmasters in America. He appeared on BBQ Pitmasters regularly from 2009 to 2018, and has also been featured on America's Pit Wars, Food Network's The Kitchen, and Chopped.
