Their mother, Goody Black Silly Beak, and their father, Batty Silly Beak, believed Merry was a Holy Bird. Goody and Batty Silly Beak believed this because they were of a deeply devout persuasion. Then Billy Silly Beak meets Pearl the Purple Eared Bird Girl, a bird of a different persuasion than the other birds living in the cold northern region. What to think? What to do?
