The Birkenstock Arizona Vegan Leather Suede Soft Footbed Sandals are designed to provide extra comfort and all-day support. The two-strap look is made from a classic, velvety suede material that looks good in any season. The sandals have an anatomically shaped cork footbed and a suede footbed lining for improved comfort, while the EVA sole is flexible and lightweight. The two adjustable straps have metal pin buckles and a deep heel cup for extra support. The heel mould helps to activate the calf muscles, stabilise the back of the foot, and improve gait and coordination. There are also interior and exterior longitudinal arch supports that surround the tarsal bones and a transverse arch support to stabilise the metatarsal bone. At the front of the footbed are raised indentations, called the toe grip, that help to keep the toes loose and spread out in their natural position. Lastly, the footbed edge is drawn up high at the front to protect the toes during the rolling motion of the foot.
