Author Biography:

Sue Miller is married with two children and a grandson. She was born in London but after a happy interlude as a student in Leeds has lived most of her life in the north east of England. For many years she held various roles as a teacher, psychologist and senior manager developing and delivering services for children and families. She has always worked in areas where individuals experience the challenging social, economic and environmental pressures that successive governments, as well as communities, try to address. She spends a lot of time asking 'Why?'
