Description

"Just read the delightful Brave B'Dohby...it's fascinating, beautifully illustrated and will aid parents in ridding their kids and grandkids of unhelpful, often unreasonable fears. I think it's great that the language requires adults to read and explain the pictures to the kids. It's a wonderful bonding book."---PAT BOONE, American singer and composer, actor, author, television personality, motivational speaker & spokesman. In the world where B'Dohby lives, there is an ancient book called The Written Words of the Creator of All that holds the key to B'Dohby winning his Mindbattle against fear. This Christian storybook uses a pretend world to help teach the little ones in our real world to conquer their fears by believing God's Word in the Bible over scary "Lie-thoughts." *Visit bdohby.com for a free download of Bible verses that go with the story!* Special Note for Parents & Teachers: Brave B'Dohby is best read by an adult to children (6-9 years old) where the story can be discussed together and used as a tool to combat their own specific fears. The authors are working on an easy to read version with simple text for independent readers which will be available soon.

Author Biography:

Bryan Koontz lives in the beautiful mountains of North Carolina. Introduced to painting by his grandmother at an early age, he has worked in the creative arts for most of his adult life. Bryan attended Appalachian State University and graduated with a BS degree in Commercial Design and worked in the printing and graphic design industry for many years. He has worked on numerous graphic design projects, various commercial and book illustrations, and private painting commissions. Currently a freelance graphic designer, illustrator and fine artist, he works out of his home studio Shepherd's Mountain. Taking inspiration from the scenic landscape around him, he can be often found outdoors working on plein air studies, drawings, and paintings in hopes of capturing a little of the essence of the truth, beauty and goodness found in our God's incredible creation The Story of Mr. & Mrs. K... Once upon a time, Mr. and Mrs. K were best friends. They went to a school in England and lived in a castle with students from all over the world, where they fell in love and decided to get married. They love people of all ages and from all places very much, so Mrs. K became a teacher and Mr. K became a marriage and family counselor. When they heard that there were billions of people around the world who have never heard how much Jesus loves them, they co-founded a ministry together so that they could help reach the people in the farthest away places of the earth with the best news EVER in their language and culture. They live happily together with their four sons and silly dogs in the mountains, and are even happier when they hear that a person understands how much Jesus loves them... and then that person loves Him back.
