Author Biography:

Jo was born in Shropshire, and now lives with her husband in Argyll. She has always had a passion for writing, along with a lively fascination for history and the natural world. In 2016 she was invited to become Writer in Residence at the Royal Scottish Geographical Society. Founded to preserve and provide access to places of natural beauty or historical significance, the National Trust is one of the world's leading conservation organisations dedicated to preserving Britain's landscape. From ancient forests to historic houses and gardens, the Trust looks after more than a quarter of a million hectares of land, including over 770 miles of coastline and thousands of archaeological monuments across England, Wales and Northern Ireland.
