Piglet is Pooh's best friend. He is a timorous, small animal, who often takes his lead from Pooh unless overcome by fear. But increasingly he shows himself to be very brave when faced with a crisis and given sufficient encouragement. Piglet is tiny and protected by the other animals of Hundred Acre Wood.
