Description

Released in 1973, not long before their American breakthrough, BURNIN' marked the end of a chapter in the story of the Wailers--Peter Tosh and Bunny Wailer left the band after this touchstone was completed. This is one of the essential roots-reggae albums, tough and heartfelt--it contains the original "I Shot The Sheriff," which Eric Clapton covered and scored an international hit.

2001Japanese issue with three bonus tracks.
