Author Biography:

For nearly a half century, author Steve Liddick, who was known professionally as Steve Fredericks, worked as a radio news correspondent. But First This Message is a chronicle of a sometimes difficult, occasionally interesting career in the unstable, ego-driven business of the entertainment medium. The story begins as a ten-year-old who longs to be a radio announcer to a man retired to a new career of writing novels and enjoying life on a Sacramento ranch.
