Description

She loses two husbands to the revolution and flees to the United States with four children and her childhood companion. She goes from privilege to poverty but manages to make a way for her family in America. Based on a true story, the challenges an immigrant single mother faces and must overcome are explored, from a personal perspective. The novel is filled with passion, hardships, and the challenges and disappointments a family must endure.
