Not the bright ultramarine blue depicted in the image here but a rather dull, desaturated dark blue. Strainer is too small for the volume if you like your tea strong, you can't fit enough tea leaves into the strainer. I have to put the leaves directly into the pot and pour through the stainer externally. Good workmanship for price and otherwise attractive.
