Author Biography:

Tutu Mele loves to write books for the beginning reader. She does this in an artistic way that catches the imagination of these younger readers. She has also illustrated this book. She writes under the name of Tutu Mele. Tutu ( pronounced, 2 2, means Grandmother in Hawaiian). Mele is her family name meaning song or Merry in Hawaiian. Her real name is Mary Martin. She lives in the White Mountains of Arizona in the summer and spends her winter in Baja California. She is retired and loves her life enjoying the "endless summer".
