This series is a new initiative published by the Institute of China's Economic Reform & Development of the Renmin University of China. Economic slowdown is a major trend that emerged in recent years in China. To understand this trend, China's Economy 2012 conducts empirical and quantitative research on China's economy in three aspects: international comparisons and measurement of potential growth rates, factors affecting China's potential growth rate, and future trends and response strategies of China's economic development. It also provides a series of policy recommendations for maintaining sustainable economic growth in China.
