Description

Circus Notes and Jottings is a collection of writings advocating the place of circus as an educational medium and the development of youth circus. It is drawn from forty years of experience and charts the author's developing ideas.

Author Biography:

Steve Ward is a retired teacher of Drama, Theatre, and Circus. Since 1978 he has been closely involved in developing circus as an educational medium. He has run his own award winning youth circus and has directed many youth circus festivals, both in the UK and abroad. He still advises on youth circus and educational circus matters, and now also writes on aspects of circus history.
