Okay let's be honest, I've been using citadel paints since I was a kid and in Australia, the paints had such a bad habit of hardening and drying up no matter how well you treated them. Well, it's nice to know Citadel have changed their recipe along the way where now their paints last longer and continue to apply smooth.

They are designed to be used straight over Citadel Base paints (and each other) without any mixing.
