At the 1913 première of Igor Stravinsky’s Rite of Spring, the revolutionary ballet was too modern, too radical, enraging the audience. But Coco Chanel is entranced. She meets Stravinsky again years later, but he is destitute and his wife consumptive, while Chanel is highly successful. She offers his family her country villa, but the air is electric with tension, stoking the sexual and creative fires of these cultural titans…
