Author Biography:

Dr. Samiran Kumar Paul, Former Head and Professor University Department of English and presently Dean, Faculty of Humanities in B R A Bihar University, Muzaffarpur. In 42 years of his active and regular teaching in colleges and Universities, he has taught English and guided many students who are now working in different Indian Universities and abroad. Dr. Paul is a dedicated author whose more than fifty books have been published. He wrote two books on Rabindranath Tagore's Gitanjali, Shakespeare's Poetry and Plays. he also wrote books on Literary Theory and criticism in English. He is a multi-linguist. "Madhumaya Prantik" and "Kaalkut" are his best Hindi anthologies of Poems. He is now turned towards writing his Memoirs in Bengali. He is held with high esteem as an English free lancer. He contributed for twenty years literary works, socio-economic-cultural commentaries and political trends and ideology through his regular columns in "The Indian Nation", the first English daily of Bihar. His literary video lectures above thirty are available on YouTube.
