Author Biography:
Dan Peeler completed his theological education at Brite Divinity School at TCU and is a Children and Family Minister in Dallas. Dan began his career in 1968, producing 22 animated segments for Sesame Street/Children's Television Workshop. With business partner Charlie Rose, Peeler Rose Puppet Shows produced programs and graphics for various national clients, like The Disney Channel, PBS, Warner Bros, and The Learning Channel. Television commercial clients included Six Flags Over Texas, Kellogg's, Dr. Pepper, Pizza Hut, and Frito Lay. In the late '90s, he designed, co-produced, and directed over 50 episodes of the puppet/costume character syndicated series with Bobby Goldsboro, 'Swamp Critters of Lost Lagoon," for PBS and the Learning Channel. Charlie Rose is the business partner, graphic artist, animator, and puppeteer of Peeler Rose Productions. He has designed, developed, and produce art in many forms beginning with television production and including 2D graphics, puppetry, logos, branding, animation, and programming content for #VrTuo live streaming television channel Amazing World of Puppets, part of the SmartMed+ system.
