Author Biography

Born in Dublin and educated by the Carmelite Fathers and the College of Commerce, Stephen has spent all of his working life in the family run business, J.C. Walsh & Sons Ltd., which is now in its third generation. As Managing Director, Stephen has led the company into new and varied markets, and has gained recognition in the business community having received awards for design, innovation and enterprise. He has a keen interest in jewellery design and attends leading jewellery trade fairs worldwide. Married with three adult children, Stephen has a love of outdoor pursuits and enjoys hill walking and long distance running. He is a former president of the Dublin Junior Chamber, board member of the Dublin Chamber of Commerce and is currently an active member of the local business network.
