Description

As academics, whenever we wanted information on the business or economic aspects of the Caribbean, there was comparatively very little available and accessible. What we found was often incomplete or fragmented, and this was after an extensive search of print documents, electronic records, and sources in the Caribbean countries. So although we wanted to encourage our students and colleagues to take an interest in the Caribbean, we were very limited in the sources we could suggest and in the scope and nature of the projects. After many years of commiserating the dearth of information on the Caribbean, we decided to be proactive and to add to the scholarly literature on business and economics in the Caribbean. This book is aimed at introducing students and scholars to the Caribbean economic literature.
