Author Biography

After visiting France with the intention of staying for just one winter season, Fiona and her husband just kept coming back for more! Fiona started out running a chalet as a chalet hostess and became more involved professionally with the business until she became director of the company. Her company offers holidays in 40 chalets spread over four ski resorts and Fiona is responsible for training all chalet hosts in the business of cooking and caring for guests. Her book Cooking for Friends include many of the recipes that she used as a hostess when quality and time were at a premium.
