Author Biography

Dale M. Cendali is a partner in Kirkland & Ellis LLP's New York office and heads Kirkland's Copyright, Trademark, Internet and Advertising Practice Group. She is a nationally recognized leader in the field of intellectual property litigation, having successfully litigated and tried numerous high-profile cases, including the Harry Potter "Lexicon" fair use case, and as part of the Oracle appellate team that won a key copyrightability decision in Oracle v. Google. J. Michael Keyes is a partner at Dorsey & Whitney LLP in Seattle, Washington, where he maintains a national litigation and trial practice representing a wide array of clients in cases involving copyrights, trademarks, and false advertising.
