Author Biography:

Megan R Stafford is a UKCP registered psychotherapist in private practice, a Lecturer at the University of Roehampton, and a Module Leader at Metanoia Institute.  She has worked for many years as a researcher, including work in mental health and wellbeing developing guidelines for the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) at the National Collaborating Centre for Mental Health, and most recently evaluating humanistic therapy for young people at the University of Roehampton.  Megan integrates a developmental, relational and transpersonal approach in her practice, to consider working therapeutically with her clients’ developmental traumas, current relational difficulties and future aspirations. She lives in West London, where she is about to embark on a loving renovation of her flat and perfecting her pastry skills, now that she has a little more time on her hands Tim Bond is an Emeritus Professor of the University of Bristol and Visiting Professor to the University of Malta. He has a longstanding commitment to researching and writing about professional ethics for the talking therapies and promoting mental well-being. He is currently a consultant to the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy on professional ethics and standards, a member of the Ethics Committee for the British Psychological Society and the Executive Council of the International Association for Counselling. He is a registered member of BACP and provides counselling supervision and training workshops.
