I coached Roger years ago and he was one of the best football players I've coached, and I knew he had a lot of heart and desire, but I had no idea how much heart! I had no idea what a committed human being and dad he was. I actually had him do some work on my house and I was still unaware of all the things going on in his life. There were times that I had to stop reading because of all the emotion that I was experiencing, often wonder how much people can do when faced with certain situations. Most of us will never experience the tough situations that he and his amazing family have had to endure. This was truly enlightening and I'm very fortunate that I was considered to be a part of this journey of Rogers life.
