Description

Disaster strikes and your team is confronted with the most difficult challenge they have ever faced. Procedures in place, they work tirelessly to respond to the situation, save lives and reduce the disaster's impact. After many hours your team gathers to celebrate a job well done. This time it was just an exercise. No property was damaged and no lives threatened. The exercise you developed created a safe and controlled environment where procedures could be evaluated and your team's response tested. Understanding the immense value of conducting an emergency exercise you now need the tools to ensure its success. Having developed exercises across North America, Darryl Culley, President of Emergency Management & Training Inc., knows what it takes to develop a successful exercise and has developed this guide to walk you through the process. From setting the goals and objectives to developing the scenario and inputs, this guide offers detailed descriptions of each step and provides a behind the scenes looks at exercise planning and development.
