Author Biography:

E.M. PALMEGIANO, is Professor of History and Director of Faculty Research and Sponsored Programs at Saint Peter's College. She specializes in bibliographies on the Victorian era. Two of her previous books include The British Empire in the Victorian Press, 1832-1867 (1987), and Women and British Periodicals, 1832-1867: A Bibliography (1976).
