When comforting the grieving, we all are presented with a universal dilemma - what do we say? What do we do? What would be most beneficial for the poor soul who stands in front of us seeking words of comfort and wisdom? We all have trouble when comforting those who grieve. First time author, Lavita Fielder Mooney, has successfully walked through some of life's greatest sorrows. Because of this, she helps us to understand what we can say and/or do for those who are experiencing the worst grief of their lives. Crying For Me is not only a "how to" on comforting the grieving, but also gives us great insight in "how to" walk through life's greatest sorrows and adversities. Lavita's faith and belief in Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior is how she gained victory through many encounters of grief. She takes us on a journey by using her own experiences, those of others, and even biblical accounts to convey this point. This journey consists of how to find victory from the pit of grief into the glory of God's promises. Lavita is a homemaker and resides with her husband, Michael, in Amarillo, Texas. Between them they have two lovely daughters, two beautiful granddaughters, two adorable grandsons, and two precious dogs.
